We are pleased to be producing beef in heart of the USA that is more healthy than any imported from South America or the mega-expensive Japanese beef or the fatter breeds in favor for commercial beef produced domestically.  Texas Longhorns are the most American of any breed of bovines, having been present on this continent since 1493.  They were first brought over to the new world with Columbus on his second voyage.  They also are the most healthy beef you can consume.   

 

Cwm Ceffyl Ranch is also a member of the "Colorado Proud" program under the Colorado Department of Agriculture.

 

Cwm Ceffyl Ranch sells custom all natural Texas Longhorn beef.  Longhorn beef is lean and low in cholesterol, much lower than any other beef.   We use no growth hormones, no steroids, no implants, and  a minimum of antibiotics for treatment only.  Our cattle are on grass pasture most of the time and always given plenty of room to exercise.  We take great pride in giving the cattle the most stress free life that we possibly can.  That shows up in the form of beef that is healthy to consume.

We sell the beef by the whole animal, a side (1/2 of the animal) or a quarter.  We occasionally have hamburger to sell by the pound.  Whole beeves, quarters and sides are priced at $3.19 per pound hanging weight (you pay the processing fee); ground beef sold by the package is priced at $3.25 per pound (processing fee already paid).  Contact Cwm Ceffyl Ranch for information on available animals.  We currently have packaged ground beef, misc. cuts, and even a side from a yearling steer (only $375.00 including processing).  Contact us soon to order a whole animal, a side, a quarter, or some packaged ground beef.
